Cobb EMC To Hold Annual Membership Meeting
Cobb Electric Membership Corporation is celebrating 68 years of service by holding its annual meeting of the membership on Thursday, September 7, 2006. Cobb EMC serves members in Cobb, Bartow, Cherokee, Fulton and Paulding counties in the North Metro Atlanta area and Randolph, Calhoun, Quitman and Clay counties in Southwest Georgia. Registration for the meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by the business session and election of directors at 11:00 a.m. in building 3000 at the EMC headquarters, 1000 EMC Parkway in Marietta. Guests must please register with photo identification at guest table.
Reports on the operation and financial status of the cooperative will be presented, as well as the election by the members of three directors to serve the membership for the next three years. Dwight Brown, President and CEO of Cobb EMC, urges all members to attend this important function. Displays of interest to members will be provided along with refreshments made available by the Cobb EMC Volunteer Task Force. This year's entertainment will be provided by the Due West Elementary Choral Group.
