Cobb EMC Salutes Public Safety Personnel
Every day they put their own lives at risk to ensure that citizens of Cobb County are safe. They are the law enforcement and rescue personnel who work hard to protect and serve, creating a safe place for Cobb County citizens to live and play.
Cobb EMC is proud to have sponsored the 12th annual Public Safety Breakfast presented by the Cobb Chamber at their First Monday Breakfast on September 11. The event kicked off a countywide Public Safety Appreciation Week, September 11-17.
The breakfast was held at the Cobb Galleria Centre and recognized outstanding employees from Cobb County's public safety agencies.
Cobb EMC's management, directors, and employees are proud to be a part of this special event that honors the personal risk and bravery shown by local public safety employees.
In addition to sponsoring the breakfast, Cobb EMC is pleased to provide the lighting for the 2006 Field of Flags display at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park.
This memorial of 3,300 American flags at the base of Kennesaw Mountain will serve as a backdrop for the 9/11 Community Memorial Service at sunset on Monday, September 11, 2006.
