Cobb EMC Web site launches new look, enhanced features
This spring, the new Cobb EMC Web site takes on a completely new look and now offers many exciting new features. With the click of a mouse, Cobb EMC members can access their account information, complete an energy audit, email their questions and keep up with the latest news through the online bi-monthly newsletter “Connections,” as seen in Georgia Magazine. Many sections of the site include a Spanish translation.
Included is information about the company and community involvement and a list of energy conservation and electrical safety tips. URL addresses for many of the groups and organizations affiliated with Cobb EMC appear throughout the site.
Cobb EMC has launched an online energy audit called Energy Depot. Energy Depot is an integrated suite of applications that currently includes online residential energy audits and also provides energy information and tools for each customer’s individual energy information need. Customers can conduct their own energy audits, perform a quick appliance calculation using the energy calculator, or read an article in the library. In future site enhancements customers can use the online tool to compare two different home heating and cooling system alternatives or other appliances/lights, conduct commercial audits, or search using a Spanish translation (residential).
Future site enhancements include a special section for builders, contractors, realtors and homeowners associations.
The Cobb EMC Web site is constantly being revised and updated to add more features and conveniences to the site so check back often.
