Cobb EMC Community Foundation gives $3M to local nonprofits

Small change added up to make a big difference in our community in 2017. The Cobb EMC Community Foundation reached a milestone donation of more than $3 million to local nonprofits since 2013.

Thank you to Cobb EMC members who round their bills up each month through Operation Round Up. Your contributions fund the Cobb EMC Community Foundation to help charitable organizations right here in Cobb EMC’s five-county service area.

See your gifts in action. Below are a few nonprofits that received funds from the Cobb EMC Community Foundation in December 2017.

  • Goshen Valley Foundation supported foster care children.
  • Lonely Hearts Club made Christmas baskets filled with toys and food for military families.
  • Loving Arms Cancer Outreach provided gas and grocery cards to people battling cancer.
  • MDE School updated classroom technology for students with language-based learning disabilities.

The Cobb EMC Community Foundation is a third-party foundation, separate from Cobb EMC, that administers and distributes funds collected through Operation Round Up.
