Recycle Day & Drive Electric Earth Day

Join us for a metal and paper recycling event and stop by our EV gallery.

RECYCLE DAY DETAILS:

Thank you to everyone who attended our 2023 Recycle Day. We hope to see you again next year!

Every year, Cobb EMC hosts a metal and paper recycling event that is free to members. You may bring your old phones, computer equipment, cameras, metal items, small appliances, and refrigerators for proper, eco-friendly disposal. We also offer on-site shredding for secure document destruction, as well as information on ways you can help make a positive impact on our environment.

Cardboard boxes and medicine are not accepted at the event. A cash-only fee applies to TVs ($20) and computer monitors ($10). Attendees are responsible for bringing all items to be recycled to the event. We are not able to pick up items.

DRIVE ELECTRIC EARTH DAY DETAILS:

After you recycle your items, stop by our Solar Flower Garden to check out our electric vehicles on display. Learn about the benefits of driving an electric vehicle and the incentives Cobb EMC can offer to help with the cost of installing an EV charger.

The EVs will be on display from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. and there will be snacks served while supplies last.
