Power Theft

Power Theft

Power Theft is an international problem and public safety issue with real consequences.

Power theft poses shock and fire hazards to the perpetrators and to often-innocent family, friends and neighbors. These conditions can lead to property damage, personal injury, and even death.

Billions of dollars are stolen from utilities annually, and unfortunately, these losses must be passed along to members.

Cobb EMC has taken a proactive stance on energy theft, but we need your help. Please call our Power Theft Tip Line at (678) 355-3911 or email powertheft@cobbemc.com to report any situation you believe may involve power theft to initiate an investigation.
