With support from our smart-grid technology and our outstanding line crews, Cobb EMC is 1st in the nation for restoring outages quickly and 2nd in the nation for reliability, according to the IEEE. We know how important it is to keep your home and office connected and to have those family movie nights. We are proud to reliably power your lives.
 
Despite rising costs and difficult economic conditions, Cobb EMC’s board of directors and employees have worked diligently to control costs. At a time when electric bills are going up around the nation, Cobb EMC protected members from higher rates by absorbing more than $23 million in rising wholesale power costs this year with the help of dividends from our wholly-owned subsidiary, Gas South. This year, Cobb EMC members’ bills are $22 lower per month than the state average.
 
In 2023, we will continue to work hard for you and to improve the experience you have with us. As an electric cooperative, we don’t exist to make a profit. We are owned by you, our members, and we are here to serve you. Keeping rates low and reliability high is very important to us.
