The Cobb EMC Foundation 2026 Yearly Initiative Application is currently open. Non-profit organizations are encouraged to apply for all their 2026 needs without a maximum dollar limit. The Cobb EMC Foundation Annual Award recipients will be announced in March 2026. The deadline for completed applications is October 1, 2025.
The Cobb EMC Foundation is funded by the majority of Cobb EMC members who generously round their bills up each month through Operation Round Up. For each member, the average donation is only $6.80 each year, but collectively this makes an enormous impact in our community. Since the Foundation’s inception it has given away over $10 million to local nonprofits.
Every dollar contributed through Operation Round Up goes directly to serving the Cobb EMC members. In addition to the grants to local non-profits, it also awards $70,000 annually to young students whose families are Cobb EMC members.
The Cobb EMC Foundation is made up of 9 appointed volunteer members who carefully assess all applications. The Cobb EMC Foundation stands as a testament to our community’s collective spirit of giving.
