The Cobb EMC Foundation is proud to announce its continued support to local nonprofits and educational initiatives through recent grant disbursements aimed at strengthening the community and improving lives across the region.
Through generous contributions made possible by Cobb EMC members who participate in Operation Round Up, the Foundation awarded $1,016,129 to 131 organizations focused on vital services such as food services such as food security, youth development, healthcare access, and educational resources.
"The Cobb EMC Foundation is a steward of our members' generous donations, and our mission is to identify and work with charitable organizations that have an impact on those who live and work in our service area," said Michele Sutcliffe, Chair of the Cobb EMC Foundation Board. "We are grateful to be able to support these charities and are extremely proud of their tireless devotion and dedication to our community."
Since its inception, the Cobb EMC Foundation has distributed over $10.4 million to nonprofits and educational institutions, ensuring that community-driven impact remains a core value of the Foundation's mission.
"The support from the Cobb EMC Foundation is more than just financial--it's partnership that helps us reach more families and expand our impact," said Carely Stephens, Executive Director of the Cobb EMC Foundation. "We're turning hope into positive action and building stronger, more resilient communities."
