Diaper Collection
Bringing comfort to little ones in need.
Cobb EMC partners with the Barbara Hickey Children’s Fund to collect diapers each year that are then distributed to nonprofits in our community.
About the Need
Low-income families often have the daily stress of choosing between food and diapers. Prolonged wearing of a wet diaper causes diaper rash, and a crying baby leads to more stress in the home. Diapers present a huge challenge to low-income families, as the cost to purchase diapers is approximately $100 each month. Food stamps do not cover diapers, yet day care centers require parents to provide them. The diaper drive seeks to ease some of this burden felt by thousands of families in critical need.

How You Can Help
There are many ways you can help:
- Drop off donations at our community collection day - October 28th from 2-6 p.m. at Cobb EMC’s Solar Flower Garden. We collect diapers of all sizes, from newborn to adult.
- Purchase diapers through the Diaper Day Amazon Wish List – Diapers will be sent directly to the team so they can be organized and distributed to the nonprofits most in need.
- Organize your own diaper collection – Ask for donations from your fellow employees, organization members, neighbors or friends, and coordinate a drop off by emailing marketing@cobbemc.com.
